Smith becomes a lockdown corner along with strong play from both Browns to keep Big12 offenses at bay. He then declares early for the draft and we lose one early in the Hawkins era; he then gets drafted in the 3rd round (6th CB picked overall).

Damn it. I think we are going to see an MVP at CB because they will be playing a lot of man this year since our safeties/LBs are going to have to blitz to get some pressure due to a weak DL (hope this is totally wrong!).

Goree, if only to highlight the DL missing on the list and the huge role he will play.

As long as Big 12 teams employ the spread offense, good CB's will always be at a premium.

this poll has by far the widest, most disparate distribution of votes.

I went with Marcus Burton, but more on hope than anything. We need him to be a force in the middle this year. The LBs underachieved last year and that cannot continue in 2009.
