Sorry, not a thread about more idiotic Dan "I'm a freaking befuddled idiot football coach" Hawkins quotes.

But I do remember this quote from Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf quote from 1991:

"As far as Saddam Hussein being a great military strategist, he is neither a strategist, nor is he schooled in the operational arts, nor is he a tactician, nor is he a general, nor is he a soldier. Other than that, he's a great military man, I want you to know that."

I couldn't help but think that we've got the Saddam Hussein of football coaches... Schwarzkopf could have easily been saying:

"As far as Dan Hawkins being a great football strategist, he is neither a strategist, nor is he schooled in the football arts, nor is he a tactician, nor is he a coach, nor is he a leader. Other than that, he's a great football man, I want you to know that."

I remember of course, McCartney and Barnett have some questionable in game play calls or strategies, but they generally brought their kids to play and had some semblance of what the opposing D may bring!!
