the season a success? no.
but it would indicate a huge turn around of the team given where we were 7 games into conference play.

Whoa, Nelly. This scenario would mean CU doesn't win the Pac 12 conference tournament and win that auto bid into the NCAAs. Dare to dream, right? :D

To answer your question, Tad would earn some respect by ending a bittersweet year on a high note.
