HUGE

Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes know they have to get bigger and better in the trenches . After a tumultuous offseason and plenty of doubts, it seems like once again Deion Sanders has played the PR cycle perfectly. The morning after Coach Prime: Season 2 debuted (on Amazon Prime, for those interested in watching), the PR cycle is now swinging the Buffs way on the lead up to signing day.

The crazy thing about life as a CU fan in this era is, well, all of it, but mostly the intense amount of attention paid to the program at all times. Here, it pays off in spades. WITH 0 INDICATION from college football recruiting publications or any sport-specific reporters, the most important recruit in the Deion Sanders era went on Undisputed this morning and chose to shock the world:

BREAKING: Five-Star Plus+ OT Jordan Seaton tells me he has Committed to Colorado!

The No. 1 OT in ‘24 chose the Buffaloes over Tennessee, Oregon, Florida, & Ohio State

Jordan Seaton, come on down! The IMG Academy STAR was one one of the best uncommitted players in the country. At OT and OG, he is one of the highest-recruits EVER to look at CU and had offers from literally everybody. Seaton recently came off of a visit from Ohio State and then dropped CU from his list of top schools. As we can all see, that was a fun PR trick and Seaton made the most fun choice.

He is a plug-and-play starter as a true freshman, even along the front line. Here are some scouting notes from 247 Sports:

One of the few offensive line prospects in the 2024 cycle that has a chance to be a left tackle at the game’s highest levels. Completely reworked his body from the time he first emerged on the recruiting scene as a freshman up in the D.C. area, shedding a ton of bad weight while adding plenty of functional strength in the upper half. Updated measurements weren’t available in advance of senior season, but was believed to be hovering somewhere around 6-foot-5, 290 pounds with a 6-foot-10 wingspan to boost. Quick-footed and exceptionally agile for someone of his stature. Constantly looks to finish what he started. Mirrors well in pass protection with a sound, repeatable process. Advanced hand placement not only allows him to saddle up pass rushers and ride them out of the way, but also strike and explode through defenders in run fits. Has no issues climbing, and hit 17.7 MPH on a GPS tracking device while pulling in a game. Should be viewed as a potential multi-year starter for a College Football Playoff contender based on what he put on tape as a 12th grader at IMG Academy, which has churned out plenty of high-profile linemen over the years. Must keep his eyes on the prize and embrace the grind as lumps are likely early on in collegiate career, but has the tools to blossom into an early-round NFL Draft pick given length and ability to both anchor and recover.

Welcome, Jordan! The fun’s just getting started.
