Colorado lands their third five-star recruit in two years.

After a whirlwind 48 hours, Jordan Seaton is officially a Colorado Buffalo. Coach Prime and his staff closed the deal on Friday night after getting Seaton to sign his letter of intent in Boulder. Colorado has landed the best offensive lineman recruit in the country and their third five star recruit in two years, with the others being Travis Hunter and Cormani McClain.

Seaton announced his commitment to Colorado on Skip Bayless’ Undisputed on Dec. 7th, which took the world by storm. The Colorado fanbase was immediately overcome with joy and hope that the Buffs’ offensive line could have a complete turnaround in 2024. Seaton was expected to be the player to lead that charge, as he’d start immediately and likely be Colorado’s best player up front.

However on National Signing Day this Wednesday, it looked as though disaster was imminent. 247 Sports’ Steve Wiltfong put a crystal ball prediction on Seaton flipping his commitment to Maryland, which sent the fanbase into a frenzy. Seaton also seemingly flirted with joining Nebraska on Twitter Wednesday night, saying that Huskers’ five star quarterback recruit Dylan Raoila was in his DMs. Colorado fans were biting their nails, nervously waiting for Seaton’s decision for a little over two full days.

All the worrying was for nothing though, as Seaton will be playing in Colorado black and gold next season. The Buffs’ recruiting class in 2024 is small in quantity but has some of the highest quality, with Seaton at the forefront of that. The addition of Seaton automatically makes the Buffs infinitely better on the line with his seemingly superhuman athleticism as a big man. 2024 is gonna be fun with Seaton in town.

Welcome to Boulder (officially), Jordan!
