    Camera staff report

The Star Advertiser newspaper in Hawaii recently reported that ESPN has committed to televising three of Hawaii's football games on one of its network platforms next season, including the Sept.

Three things I don't like about a 6PM Hawaii Time kickoff

    1) It's way past people's bedtime on the mainland. (Midnight KO on the East Coast). Colorado fans who watch will be up into the wee hours. So although it's nationally televised, the ratings will be abysmal.
    2) The evening kickoff in Hawaii only compounds the visiting team's jet lag, adding insult to injury.
    3) The last flights from Honolulu to the outer islands depart around 9:30P, making it impossible to stick around to the end of the 4th quarter and fly back to the hotel after the game.

The Aloha spirit would dictate a 3PM kickoff, instead.

Well, I eventually got sick and went to bed "early" in the spring of my 4th year. Went back to "normal" sleeping patterns after that.

This. I would be more concerned with an early morning kickoff than a late one.
