I think he means it like "bullseye!".
fwiw, I like him a lot better for basketball than football.
On a related note... Something needs to be done about that sound system in the arena and the too-loud, tinny-sounding rebroadcast of highlight radio calls they do at the Keg midway through. Gave me a headache on Friday.
So, Levi take a shot from beyond the arc and Mark Johnson says "Knutson from three! Right between the eyes!!!!!!" and you don't know what he's talking about? You think Knutson hit the defender in the forhead with the ball? :wow:
No i obvoiusly know he made the shot hahaha. But i wanna know what eyes he is talking about.
 Its just an expression. Announcers try to come up with signature calls. Especially home run calls in baseball. Same thing.
But they are supposed to make sense!!!!!!!
Damnit! It's funny again.
I find it annoying when he uses it on every 3 pointer. Usually it is something like 'Right between the eyes from downtown'
Shudda used it in reference to the part of his anatomy Roberson planted right between Pullen's eyes.
Mark Johnson says this phrase because he isn't very good.
Dont ever try a drinking game with some of Johnson's phrases. You will likely be dead by halftime.
Actually he sucks balls. Football, basketball, it doesn't matter. He's what's known in the business as a puker.
I think he is awesome, dont know why but i love the catchphrases, over enthusiasm.
Can't listen to johnson, he's louder than a jet engine and everything is the greatest play ever. He never sounds genuine, all schtick.
That is the position I would love to see Logan get at CU.
DL: "And Burks drives the lane and this is gonna be a layup and this is gonna be a foul and this is gonna be a three-point play opportunity."
Is that worse than Mark Jackson's "Hand down! Man down!" ?
