Yea that anthem was odd but I wouldn't expect anything less from the Stanford band.

At least so far Stanford is representing the Pac 12. This bowl season has not been good to the Pac.

Go Furd. Beat the snot out of the team that made it their mission to destroy every middling team 70-0.

Stanford OL is ridiculous and they are only going to get better and better. Their OL recruiting is dominant. I guess the smartest guys on the team really are on the OL.

Wisconsin loses and they're 8-6. Yawn.

The setting for this game looks tremendous. Both fan bases always represent very well, the game is always sold out, and it seems like the weather is always perfect.

When CU makes the Rose Bowl I'll be doing my best to attend the game. Could you imagine a CU vs Fusker matchup? Stanford has trouble selling out their homegames, but that makes sense given that they are a small school in a sleeper town and a lot of their graduates don't live near Palo Alto (or are computer nerds that don't like sports) and yet they showed up. Doesn't hurt that LA this time of the year is beautiful. And I hate LA.

I LOVE 4th and 1 from the 1 yard line. ****ing great football if it gets stuffed or the RB makes it in.

Stanford reminds me of Boise in a lot of ways. They don't have the elite guys (except @LB and OL), but they play smart and sound fundamental football. They tackle very, very well for a college team.

I'm really enjoying watching these 2 teams play a more traditional style of football in today's age of spread formations and pass-happy offenses.

Could you imagine Mike Bohn taking over and coaching the team in a bowl game? :rofl2:

Montee Ball is the first player to score a TD in 3 different Rose Bowls

If Ohio State isn't under sanctions Wisconsin is playing in some low level Bowl. I really got sick of hearing MUSHberger and Herbstreit get on their knees over Wisconsin. 8-6. Not impressive. At all.

If David Shaw gets let go from Stanford, he will get another chance to be an HC.

So, somewhat of a boring game, but I'm glad I tuned in... Defensive slugfest and Stanford represented the Pac-12 well! If Oregon will takes care of K-State, I'll feel good about how the conference performed overall.

Mooseboogers is normally bad, but today was an all time low. Mistakes and weird silent spots. It didn't help that he had (a) nobody for "color".

Jim Harbaugh's coaching tree is going to look better than Belichicks in a few yrs.
