Ryan Miller opens up to tell his story

Pretty much all major sports have the risk of concussions. Soccer is one of them (although not a major sport). Hit your head on a hardwood floor in basketball. Take a 90 plus MPH fastball to the head. Hockey speaks for itself. Have you ever seen a lacrosse game (outdoor or indoor) It is pretty brutal.

Tennis and golf may be the only somewhat safe sports left.

Yep you know what you sign up for, the risks anyway. There is no way to get rid of it unless you play two hand touch. Soft shells wouldn't do it either imho. You get tackled and your head bangs off the ground, good luck. I also see, " when you get your bell rung," it's a concussion symptom. I hope that isn't true. Either way, I wouldn't have changed a damn thing. I didn't play for just me, the dudes next to me meant everything.
