Seattle close to getting NBA's Kings. How will this impact college basketball there?

I have read and heard from people about how much the OKC Thunder had an impact on basketball support at both OU and OSU. Could this be a bad thing for the Huskies, Cougars, and Seattle University's teams?

No more than the Seahawks affect the football support.

You could look and find out if there was a significant bump in support for college basketball around Washington when the Sonics left.

OU and OSU basketball support is in the tank. But - so are both teams, really.

If OU and OSU were making the NCAA tournament / final four like they were not too long ago - attendance would be much better.

That being said - there's no question that the OKC NBA franchise success has negatively impacted both OU and OSU attendance.
 
UDub's support will be perfectly fine as long as they don't suck. Not remotely a big deal.

And re: Wazzu, Do you know how far Pullman is from Seattle? That's like asking if the Redskins affects support for Virginia Tech football. The answer is no.
