BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s tennis team dropped its second match in as many days, falling to No. 4 Stanford, 7-0, Monday afternoon at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center (Millennium Hotel Harvest House).
The match originally scheduled to play outdoors was rescheduled Sunday night to be played indoors due to the inclement weather in Boulder.
CU drops to 7-10 overall and 0-6 in the Pac-12 Conference, while the Cardinal, the defending NCAA Champion, remain unbeaten at 11-0 and 3-0 in the conference. Dating back to last season, Stanford has now won 18-straight matches, including all six from last year’s NCAA Tournament, where they were the No. 12 seed.
