Some news on the UW search-this 247 piece makes me think a current MWC coach will get that job. DeBoer there would scare me. Nothing on Justin Wilcox going up there in this.

He’d leave within a year anyway as we’re ****ing broke. Added bonus if he at least doesn’t reiterate his commitment on the weekend only to stab us in the back less than a week later.
I'd love to say this is ASU's DeStefano/Hawkins moment, but Herm keeps winning 7-8 games each year.

They can buy out Fisch for $4 million. If he only wins a couple games next season, it might be wise to just admit he was not the right hire, even if he only gets two years.

DeBoer HC/Tedford OC at UW is all the talk on the gossip sites tonight ... announcement possible Monday
Interim takes over in a difficult situation. Manages to rally the players and keep the ship on course. Gets the job permanently. Fails within two years as leading the program permanently is a different job than ensuring the bottom doesn’t fall out.
That seems to be how it goes most of the time although it is a difficult decision to deny him the job permanently as the pressure from donors and players will be big to do so and it’s the easiest way out.
Preseason top 25. Crazy
Dorrell will keep that arrow in his quiver for next offseason after whatever changes he makes this year don’t create different results
