Making some $$$ on football, but would be great if we could be breaking even on Basketball....at least sometime in the near future....losing 3 mil on BBall hurts the bottom line
I didnt read the report but my understanding is Men's BB comes in about break even and we lose almost all of that on women's.

Cool, Good work CU. Absolutely love that we're operating within our budget. What a concept!!!!
Hopefully the Bball revenue #s and donations will be a little higher in the coming years to pay for this conference switch.
Just got to win. That will get us on tv more, draw a bigger crowd, and put us in postseason tournaments.
This is true for men's, women's and the volleyball team. Long-term goal should be for women's basketball+ volleyball to break even and men's basketball to make a few million. If we can get there, then our facilities improvement programs will really take off.
Speaking of which i finally got the chance to check out the buffclub lounge at Coors. I can't imagine they couldn't get someone to sponsor that and improve it a ton. Add a second Bar, some couches, a half dozen TV's, actually use the projection screen, and pipe in the game audio. I am sure it wouldn't cost and arm and a leg and they'd make a ton in concession sales, hell they could even require a donation for access.
