Overall, this is an early list that will see a lot of changes. But some observations:

1. Big year in Arizona with 7 players on the early list. Really hope we make a big push down there.
2. Several quality QBs across the west. Hope we can land one.
3. The DBs out west look very strong.
4. Tight end class does not look very deep. We need to land Parsons.
5. Hope we can work our Inland Empire and Hawaii connections.

Well, we have to look pretty good off the bat for the Hawaii guys. We've got their old teammates and cabral's brother is a coach for the top lb for punahou.

On the topic of coaches with an "in" at certain high schools, I seem to recall EB having a relative who coaches at a high school in New Orleans (Edna Karr?). If that is the case, there look to be a couple of guys on this initial list from that school, TE Standish Dobard at #208 and DB Noel Ellis at #169.
