The Rise Part 6

Great to look back on everything, but kind of a thud ending :cautious:
Not a thud brother, but a smile. Think about it. How many of the recent past seasons have ended with the anger, that emptiness, that kick in the gut. You had waited all season and it ends like this? How many seasons were over before conference play began? Then a new off season begins, then you started sipping the kool-aid, then chugging it, to only get kicked in the gut again.
This season started out thinking if MM didn't beat the lambs he was gone. To some, bowl game or gone. Most anyone here who dared to believe, or drank too much kool-aid, and thought more was possible, was laughed at.
So how did it end? Week after week of either pure happiness, or even in a loss, knowing that we just coulda, shoulda, won. We got to look at the Top 25 team ticker on the bottom of the TV screen, and for once, week after week, it was the Buffs up there. Conference championship game? Solid bowl game? They were THERE...and you know what, so were we. And for that, I watch this final episode, and smile.
What a ****ing season!
