I noticed with interest that Arizona State's AD has come out and said Dennis Erickson will not be fired after this season -- which is good news for CU because it means one less "high"(ish) profile job that won't be open. Rumor was that this was the job Belotti was holding out for.
It looks like Rich Rod will keep his job in Michigan, Mke Sherman will keep his job in Aggie-land, and now Erickson will keep his job at ASU. Other openings may (or have) occurred at Minnesota, New Mexico, Washington State and Illinois, but I think the CU job is better than all of those.
At the end of the day, CU may be the highest profilt job opening this season, which means we could have our pick of the litter. We've heard that Belotti, Richt, Mac, and Scotter have been contacted, and none of them have said they don't have any interest. Each of these candidates would, in my humble opinion, be very good coaches for CU. We may have the opportunity to pick our coach, which is a great position to be in.
