We want to thank EVERYONE for their continued support. In our family we play to win, be it football, grades, yahtzee, or silly meaningless polls. Frankly we would be just as enthusiastic no matter who the buff in the poll. We have a steady pace, and if we keep after it with a big push on Sunday and Monday, this poll is over.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the game this Saturday!
 
Isn't porn banned from the internet in Utah? That's a huge advantage for the Ute's...you know fewer distractions.

Utah voted 15,419 times yesterday (most of which came after 8pm).........
Addison got 18,148 votes in the last 24 hours.

We closed the gap by 2,729 from yesterday at this time, however we had their lead down to 2700 at about 7PM.
Overnight it went back up to 7,500. Let's reel them back in and pass them up today.
 
Status Update

An energized CU fanbase counterpunched with a daily record of over 18,000 votes and were at one time within 2,000 of overtaking Utah after a long day of chipping away at the leader. Then between 9PM and this morning the Utes fired up their thunder stick and surged ahead adding 9,000 votes in a ridiculously short amount of time. How do they do it?

The Utah fan base has been preoccupied as of late as their student leadership has been advocating changes to their 110-year old "Utah Man" fight song that some consider discriminatory. The words of their song are out of synch with today's PC world, and Utah still dropped all that righteous indignation involved with the tradition of their fight song to give Des a bigger cushion in this silly off-season poll.

The fight song infiltration was excellent work by BYU's ministry of propaganda. Their next mission, should they choose to accept it, is to crank up the heat about Utah's use of the feather and drum logo, which captures imagery and symbolism that might be offensive to some Native Americans and the non-Native American culture warriors who fight on their behalf.

Other notes:
Utah passed Texas to take the national lead.
Colorado passed Nebraska to take the #3 spot.

Props to [MENTION=2721]CUBuffs[/MENTION] for getting the twitter message out more broadly.

Buffs just messed with Texas.
CU now at #2 in the nation, with Addison's tally exceeding Longhorn Cedric Reed.

Just thought it was worth mentioning that when they lock you out from voting (cooling off) you can get right back to work if you

reset your modem.

You will be assigned a new IP address - as long as you don't have a "static IP" (usually a pay feature, but your provider may give you one by default).

You probably want to clear your cookies from your browser as well - just in case your voting history is stored in there.
