You mean there are still rules?

Schools are slinging cash left and right and the NCAA is concerned about the "integrity of the student-athlete"?

This might be the funniest thing I have read today. The NCAA apparently still thinks they are relevant.

Is there someone other than “Uncle Truman” with 285 followers that is reporting this? I don’t see anything and feel like this would be pretty big news.
Don't be ridiculous.

If you can't trust Uncle Truman, you may as well live your life being skeptical of all uncorroborated and unreferenced internet reports that pop up in your Twitter feed.

I can't say for certain that OU is doing this, nor do I doubt that pretty much every program isn't doing it, but it is still nominally against the rules to contact a kid that hasn't yet entered the portal.

Of course, Da Silva says Duke was offering him 7 figures to leave CU this past summer, and no one even commented on it, so I'm assuming it's all part of the Wild West nature of college sports right now.

Kind of seems like Oklahoma is in for a rude awakening when they join the SEC and realize they no longer get treated as one of their conference‘s Crown Jewels that gets protected.

I mean, debilitating sanctions aren't exactly new to them.

There's a reason they weren't very good for a while after the switzer sanctions came down.

The OL news is real. That likely has as much to do with their OC change as anything. Lebby went to Mississippi State.

The transfer portal tweet is fake.
