The women's lacrosse team (7-6, 4-2 MPSF) hosts San Diego State (6-6, 3-2 MPSF) today at 1pm in Boulder in a battle that could determine who makes the conference tournament and who doesn't. The Buffs are currently in 5th place, while SDSU is in 6th and UC Davis is in 7th with a 1-4 record. The top 6 teams in the conference make the tournament with the winner getting an automatic bid to the NCAA championship. The Buffs are coming off of an upset win over USC in overtime, while SDSU have lost 5 in a row with the most recent loss by just a goal to first place Denver. With only four games remaining (3 in conference) in the regular season, a win here is very important. The game won't be televised today, but there is a live stream from the Pac-12 network and live stats.
EDIT: I was looking at the overall record, so the standings between 6th and 7th aren't as close, but this game is still important because we could still fall out of playoff contention if we lose the three remaining conference games.
