Pac-12

UCLA cost themselves a chance at the NIT with that loss to St. John's today. Bruins drop to 15-12 (8-6). ****ing embarrassing for the Pac

Hell of a game going on right now with Zona at Washington.

39-37, UDub at the half.

Which winning scenario between UW and Zona is better for us?

EDIT: I'm guessing it's best that Zona drops down in conference standings and we eventually catch up with UW in wins while owning the tie breaker.

A Washington win leaves us alone at 4 losses, behind Cal and Washington with 3, and ahead of Arizona and Oregon with 5.

An Arizona win drops Washington back even with us with 4 losses, but keeps Arizona even with 4 losses as well. Cal would be alone in first with 3 losses, while Oregon has 5 losses.

We want Zona to win then. Only because we are getting Cal here next week. All things staying the same, a win against Cal would move us to the front I believe.

Also, if Washington gets into the RPI Top 50 (currently 61), that gives CU a 1-0 mark against a Top 50 team. Helps our resume more than the 1-1 against Arizona (currently 59).

Keep Brendan Sherrer's streak alive! UW is 29-0 when he plays. (knock on wood) He's known as the human cigar since he usually only plays in garbage time.

It's a really cool story of the guy that used to be in the Dawgpack... UW had open tryouts when they needed bigs and he made the team as a walk-on. He's a future dental student. He's a senior, and today was his first ever start (Romar started all seniors on the team for senior day and even Tyreese Breshers was honored). His (Breshers) career was cut short by a medical issue...

Originally thought we wanted U of A but as long as Udub finds a loss before the end of the season we definitely want them to win today.

Ya I did not know UW was so close to the RPI top 50. That would be significant. Possibly could have two top 50 rpi victories then if we beat Cal which would be a much better looking resume

UW still plays @ WSU, @ USC and @ UCLA. No more home games. UW does not typically fare well at WSU or UCLA. I'd be surprised if they don't drop another 1 or 2 games...

Gotta love it. UW is now 30-0 when the senior B.Sherrer plays:thumbsup:

Wasn't expecting the win today.

Time to go kick some **** 'Buffs! Utah is nothing...

Cal, UW and CU still control their destiny!

Any of those 3 win out and they're in!!!

Are you sure about CU? Seems to me if UW wins out, it doesn't matter what CU does - they don't play each other again.

Unless you're counting the tourney, in which case U$C controls their own destiny...

Counting the tourney everyone is still in:lol:

If CU wins out and plays deep in the tourney they'll be in.

I really think Cal, UW and CU control their destiny still...

Oh, I think I see what you mean. That they'll get a bid if they win out. I was thinking that they would have an automatic bid if they win out, which might be the only way any Pac-12 should feel safe these days...
