KU and AZ are part of ticket lottery based on priority points, similar to postseason tickets.
Exactly....I received email a couple days ago explaining the lottery and to watch for Thursday email with code. So today I get the "code email", and log in to "enter the lottery", and in the list of games, no KU or AZ. Kind of hard to enter the lottery without those options on the game list.
I got the same E-Mail. It is not the lottery email. It is simply the presale of single game tickets for season ticket holders. The lottery will not be a public email. The tickets will be made available to ticket holders based on priority points. If you are like me and have 2 or so, we likely won't hear about the lottery at all, because the people at the front of the line will have purchased them all.

could expand the sections at the ends of the court fairly easily. Past that we really start running into limitations of the arena.
I don't think we are quite there yet. We are still at the break even stage. Let's get to the point where we make at least $5 million of profit every year and then we can expand.

Yes, let's make sure we keep up this demand for at least a few years before we think about expanding. A lot of people are first or second year season ticket holders, let's make sure they don't lose interest in a down year.

Having plans and actually planning on doing it are 2 entirely different things.
I am sure they will not execute the plan this season, but if they sell out season tickets again there will be construction at the CEC. The new AD and his newly appointed Assistant AD that's sole responsibility is Coors, is already making changes to put us on par with other basketball schools. Look for the band to be smaller this year than in years past for example.

I appreciated what Dana was trying to do with the size of the basketball band, but it needs to shrink. Too much empty space that could be filled with students.
The ticket price increases were a step in the right direction. Should enable CU to continue to keep other programs away from Boyle, while increasing their basketball related expenses towards more the middle of the Pac-12
From my understanding, CU has added a new weight room, so sounds like there are plans to upgrade the facilities. Imagine eventually, we might see some seat expansions, as well as other features added
I do think the CU webpage should make it easier to donate. Other Universities, make it very easy to do so. At least in my experience, buying single game tickets at other venues, they make it very easy to donate at that time.

Nothing lasts forever. I'm sure we'll have a down year every once in a while, but we are in a much better position to keep Boyle now, then in the past. Another program will have to throw around $2 million or more his way, and there aren't many programs that are willing to do that. Texas is about the only program I'd be mildly concerned about, with Barnes being awful.
It will be cut by almost half this season.
I did qualify my remarks with "If this keeps up". Losing Tad Boyle would be a disaster, and I think Rick George understands this. If he didn't before, he sure does now. Still, if we get to the point where we're shoe-horning 11,000+ into that place every night, even against teams like Harvard, then I think serious consideration needs to be given to increasing capacity. Because even if it's true that these things go in cycles, even if it cycles down, it will cycle back up again at some point.
This was one of my major beefs with Bill Marolt. CU had unprecedented football success, and didn't add one extra seat of capacity to Folsom during his time here. You need to capatilize on those opportunities when they present themselves.

Harvard is going to surprise a lot of CU fans judging by the responses I've seen on this board. That team is legit good. They'd be a top 4 team in the P12.
Combination of the new assistant AD, the new assistant director of athletic bands from the ACC (FSU), and the new director of bands from the SEC (LSU). They did basketball bands differently where they all came from.
We did average 94% capacity last year.

Relax guys, sacky is just saying CU fans are dumb and can't tell when a good team rolls through the keg, unless the team is Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky or Kansas.
We would probably **** it up if Louisville came through because we would assume it was a team from down 36.

Would somebody who was able to get single game tix for either Kansas or Arizona please PM me with what they cost? Preferably, I'd like to know what the reserved bleachers went for, but honestly, any prices would help.
I'm in a group of friends splitting tickets and to be fair, we are trying to figure out what the single game prices are, and those are the only two games that we don't know since they're only gonna make it to the donors.
