*Official Game Thread -- Week 1 vs CSU

Meanwhile, Mack and Amin failed the test. Favorite from Mack: Colorado is still running the hurry up, but they're slowing it down.
I liked that too. My favorite was talking about Jimmy Gilbert's family members all playing basketball. "And you can see that basketball ability come out with that pass rush"
You can? WTF?

I agree on the Awuzie praise. He looked REALLY good tonight. I thought he was the best player on the field by a good margin.

Also have to eat crow regarding Ross. He looked good tonight.

I was pretty happy with everything, little sloppiness at times but it's game 1. One thing I wanna see though is more TE work, where the hell was Keeney tonight?

So nice to wake up in the morning and read this thread after the ASS WHUPPIN' we gave the sheep last night. Haven't had this much joy reading about this game the next morning since that 41-14 butt kicking we gave them a few years back.

Also, props to Ross and Bobo for stepping and leading the team in receiving tonight. They've been the butt of a lot of jokes with CU fans and they looked great tonight.
I was on Bobo for the drop when he had it right in the hands. And next play he swoops it in with one hand. What a friggen great play. Crow never tasted so good. So much of the team looked worlds better. And I love Sefo. If he can stop fumbling, stop trying to be a linebacker, and stop skipping the ball to receivers, we are gonna have a good year. If.

So if he can stop being sefo? I'll tell you what I love the guy, he's a great kid and competitor. He does make some bone headed plays though. Going head first for first downs was so dumb. Slide kid, protect yourself!

I liked how ESPN showed the Kyle Evans scholarship award clip after the game was over. I love that clip. Love the story and love to see his teammates react

For sure. And on that note, Evans is a worthy scholarship based on his play. I expect it won't be long until we forget he was a walk-on.

Anyone else have koolaid for breakfast this morning? It's delish!

I was wondering if we were ever going to throw to the TE. Obviously we didn't need to. I hope we have a few plays drawn up for the TE.

I know this is a quote from several pages ago, but this needed special attention. I'm sitting at a restaurant eating breakfast and just started laughing hysterically. People are looking at me funny.
You know they do that, even when you don't laugh, right?
