Official Game Thread: COLORADO @ Nebraska --- 9/8 @ 1:30

I’ll be honest... I couldn’t watch after te Buffs went 3 & out for the third time in a row in the 2nd quarter. I was having heart issues. I “watched” this thread to see how the game turned out.
Hope you’re doing better today? It has been decades since I was this emotional during a game.

Yeah. They outplayed us. For 1 1/2 quarters. We outplayed them for 2 1/2. If that’s how that Character guy wants to play it. Or whatever his name is.

Yeah this notion that Nebraska outplayed CU is dumb. They won exactly one aspect of the game and that was the running game on both O and D. CU won everywhere else. Congratumother****inlations
Duhbraska was able to win the first half. No first game film made it tough to game plan for Duhbraska, so once the staff had a chance to see what the game plan for the Nubs looked like, they could and did make adjustments.

Cornholers had all of 7 points after halftime.

We got two weeks to get a lot sorted out. Hope we get a decent starting five settled by UCLA.
I don't know the first thing about O line technique.

For you guys keeping on eye on how these guys are grading out as O lineman, are you seeing the issues with the O line as technique due to coaching? Or talent disparity?

I saw a couple of times where they were just man handled and a couple of times where speed was a problem.

really tired of the games before cutting into ours and I recorded the game, added the 30min extra time to recording and it still cut off with 2:20 left on the clock - dagnabbit

It did look like he was trying to twist the leg, but the whistle hadn’t sounded and he had no way of knowing if the ball carrier was down. Once the whistle sounded, he stopped. That’s, like, how you play football.

Seemed like a few times the OL could not handle the physicality of the NU DL. Some clear talent issues as well.
