Official Coaching Search Thread

Hope RG has been active setting up interviews with other positions sure to open, such as NC.

The sin was allowing Gary Barnett to be run out of town on a bunch of BS allegations. He was an honorable man who didn’t deserve the treatment he got. And it’s no coincidence he was the last really good coach we had.
I agree, but I will always say that MM did a hell of a job with the rebuild. He should have just moved on after 2016.

Not that Tufts has any inside info, but Kingsbury is tight with Chev. Could definitely see Chev accepting a demotion to WR coach only, in favor of KK coming in as OC under a Jimmy Lake HC.

Kliff is going to be enjoying a $4.5M buyout that has no offset language. He's free to take any job without it costing him any money. I just don't know that this is the offense we want to define CU football. This is full blown Air Raid.

Doesn’t do anything for me. I’m not all, “Kingsbury? YAY!”

No thanks on a full air raid offense.

Why would CU be interested in a HC that just got canned by Texas Tech. And why would Klingsberry accept being an OC at CU?

He wouldn’t be a HC candidate, but KK is going to be one of the most sought after OC in the country, he has a great relationship with Chev, offensive personnel that aligns with his offensive philosophy and style, and the buy out money from TTU has made it possible to do whatever he wants for a few years.

I’m not saying it’s the direction CU should go, but it’s a little intriguing

Broncos and Buffs both have guys he has a history with. I'd be happy to have him with either team.
