CU Buffs hire former Minnesota OC Mike Sanford as their new OC

Didn't Minny lose a lot of players to the NFL or graduation last year? What about his other stops at ND, Boise and etc. It is okay hire, unlike Chev he is not a first time OC. But like Chev he can recruit, maybe a better recruiter.

A guy with 2 years as OC, one at Howard and one at William and Mary is so much better than Mike Sanford? How do you get there? For the life of me, I have no idea how you can say with any certainty Marion would be better than Sanford at this point. In all fairness, I cannot say the opposite would be true either. I am mildly pleased an experienced college OC is now on staff, and one that isn't pushing retirement age.

Not distraught, but a quick look at videos of Marrion’s offense tells you that he’s an innovator and that would have been exciting to see. Could have flamed out, but it also could have been successful and based on where we are, we need to not be afraid to take chances like that.
 
This is great news.... I am no longer donating a cent and will save even more by not attending this staffs s... show on Saturday's.
And R F...... G this is your splash hire? You need to F...... go too! You no longer represent this institution with class, dignity and have driven the football program to new lows. But hey, opens up my Saturday's.
Meanwhile, in Fort Collins, they have a mass improvement as HC and uptick in recruiting. How long before the Lambs are beating the Buffs on in-state recruiting?
 
The thing is, it's a done deal.

Our situation is:

Rick George, Karl Dorrell, Chris Wilson and Mike Sanford will all be in their jobs for the next 2 years, minimum.

That's reality.

I really wanted a creative, run-based offense. That's not what we got. I'm disappointed, but want to give it a chance. It's hard.
