CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

With the way college football is heading toward super conferences I wouldn't be surprised if those 2 just decided to de-emphasize football and decide they don't want to be part of all that.
Cal has about a billion reasons to want to keep a football team around.

Pfffft..... When this happens yo ass better be rooting for the Buffs when they play that one school..... or else......

CU is always #1. Always.

That random internet guy says Big16 w/o UO and UW would be about $450m in TV money. With those two programs for a Big18 would be $500-$600m. Assuming it's split equally, that's a real **** sandwich relative to the other two deals

The Pac 12 released a statement, so I think it's fairly natural for most Pac 12 programs to also release a statement, particularly ones who have been at the center of speculation about leaving.

They have to say this at this point and it’ll be very easy to later say “we were very committed to finding a solution within the Pac12, but we reached a point where that became impossible and we needed to explore other options for sustaining our AD goals. “

There's this and there's legal implications for both the school and the Big 12 by coming out and saying that they are working with the Big 12. IMO it would just be better to say nothing at all but CU has never been PR savvy.

And if this statement is reality, then just **** everything.

This is high stakes poker. Take everything with a mountain of salt.
Yep. Can't go to the B12 negotiations table looking like you're desperate and have no leverage/options. Especially when each of the Pac 4 mentioned are worth more than most of the Big 12 members.
