It would be nice if Antonio could show some new looks to the Ducks as well.

Need some guys to step up. Dawson, Antonio, Omarion Miller, I'm looking at you. Has Jaylen Ellis played at all? He has quality P5 experience.

Travis Jay practicing and looked like he was getting snaps with the 1's in the Well Off vid. That should help. Eager to see if Brendan Gant can contribute as well.

Looks like Javon is still in a yellow jersey. Travis Jay was out there.

oregon is really good and really deep. we aren't yet as complete of a football team as they are and that's before travis got hacked by the future car salesman.

we have a puncher's chance because we have a truly elite qb and some great wideouts. we will need some breaks of the ball and hopefully we can steal a win.

if we win, it will be larceny but i am good with that.

lanning is like all the other coaches who have popped off. they do not like that Coach Prime is here and doing well. they do not want another legit competitor for elite talent. they do not want to hear about the hype because it makes them look weaker.

some of the hate headed our way is absolutely racially based too. who knows what is in the heart of lanning. but, there are a whole bunch of fans and coaches who do not want to see a flashy guy who so thoroughly embraces black culture be successful. the reason is pretty ****ing simple beyond the racism-- old white cracker coaches cannot compete with Coach Prime when he recruits his own way and on his terms.

pissing off all the crackers (many of course from the sec footprint now or previously) is like a big scoop of ice cream on top of the cake that is CU football right now.

Sort of informative on how stale and inbred college football has gotten. The strong usually just get stronger (boring) versus the weak punching up (CU). People like watching disrupters.
this is different since we’re playing Oregon this week. In the past few years, nobody here really cared about the week they played CU. This year they are taking interest. I wouldn’t say they “like” a disrupter in this case.

Can we use the word "Cracker"?

The Texas Tech game is the closest thing we have as to who Oregon is. The difference is that was a road game and this is at home. The Oregon defense gave up over 450 yards, but did force 4 turnovers. I can't tell how good their run game is, as they averaged 3.6 on the ground vs TT. The stats for Portland State and Hawaii don't really tell much.

I am still a bit 'meh' on Bo Nix, and it is probably because I think more of his Auburn stats then his Oregon stats. The history on him seemed to be put him in preasure situations and he will come unglued. Not sure if we have the front 4 to do that without putting too much stress on the secondary without Travis.

If we don't turn the ball over, it would bode well for our chances.

Not to mention, TT was week one. I don’t think we really have any idea how good UO is, and I mean that both was. They have better talent overall, but we’re far more battle tested and have an equalizer at QB. On Defense, we have to be opportunistic with turnovers, and for gods sake, figure out how to get the offense to move the ball on the ground at least enough to keep the defense somewhat balanced.

Im referring to Prime as the disrupter as he shreds the playbook on recruiting and rebuilding. People are genuinely excited to see how far he can go with this project. Hes done something no one else ever has.

It’s interesting that one could argue that Oregon is the last school to do something similar with uncle Phil

Cormani is a 5 star, and if an athlete ever had an opportunity to shine, demonstrate what he's got, this is it. CP preaches believing in oneself and and showing others just how good you are. Please step up, Mr McLain.

Go Buffs.

As for the Hunter situation, I think being able to game plan without him is easier than losing him mid game (on defense). Offense = basically plug and play (with the exception of the clutch 4th down situations)

I know we keep saying this, but then I try to articulate it in my mind, and other than having cameras rolling 24/7, I don’t really know what’s different.

Okay, I've gotten over my jitters after the CSU game and am pumped again.

While losing hunter is going to hurt, I feel we are going to come out pumped and make a splash.

It will be a high scoring game, but I have confidence in this team and most importantly #2 and our coaching staff.

CU with the upset in a high scoring game won with a field goal in the closing seconds, 44-41

Sorry if this has already been covered somewhere and I missed it but does anyone know which guys that have been injured are coming back this week?
I know that Travis Hunter is out and McCaskill is in.

In order of importance in my opinion:
Van Wells
Carter Stoutmire
Brendan Gant - (I'm not sure if he's any good but boy do we need an upgrade at linebacker)
Myles Slusher
Javon Antonio
Travis Jay
