I agree that truly special backs can make a mediocre/below average OL look decent. I'm not sure if McCaskill is a truly special back. I'm excited to find out tomorrowSometimes the right back can make an oline look much better than it is.
I'm not expecting us to have a great run game this season ever, but all we really need it to be is adequate. Enough that defenses have to defend against it somewhat.
I'm hoping McCaskill can be that spark you are looking for. He does have the ability to shake of tackles and find holes that other backs dont. He does have the ability to break for big plays.
Agreed. His transfer ranking seems to think he’s special so here’s hoping.I agree that truly special backs can make a mediocre/below average OL look decent. I'm not sure if McCaskill is a truly special back. I'm excited to find out tomorrow
just putting this here for good luck
So, not a wet dream. Too bad.I had a dream we lost in a nailbiter. I think it was like 24-17
Lol
I didn't post the text of the thread but it was a glorious whinny rant where he was going to take his football and go home. I just checked the website and lo and behold he did it.

Maybe Travis Hunter got some of Bobby Boucher’s special water, and is magically healed?Prime and co have been awfully quiet this week.
Focused.
They've got something up their sleeve. This is going to be a fun game.

Hoping to see him running all over Oregon’s D tomorrow. Can’t wait to see him hit the field.Very interesting. Looks like McCa"skill" didn’t have a very good o-line at Houston. Still ran the rock up and down the field
If I was from Namibia I'd still be single.I would feel better about this game if we had a run game.

So what? Buffs are going to put up 35+ whether this is the week the run game gets rolling or not.
I don't believe inside runs are the way to go for us. We have created running lanes running to the edge but we need a RB who's fast enough to get there and strong enough to easily break arm tackles. We have like 20% success rate at inside run blocks. That's abysmalWe need to be able to run the ball to win. Period. The Oregon pass rush will feast on our o-line if we don't, and our newfound TE options will be useless because he'll be forced in to block.
Having Wells back and healthy is huge - the CSU game is massively different is he's in there. McCaskill needs to be a difference maker as well. If we can run inside for 4-5 yards consistently, all other options become easier. I don't know if that's possible, but it would be huge if we could.
I worry about Nix, as does everybody who faces him, but he can be baited into bad throws. We've gotten big picks in every game - we need that streak to continue.
so we need Barry Sanders lol jkI don't believe inside runs are the way to go for us. We have created running lanes running to the edge but we need a RB who's fast enough to get there and strong enough to easily break arm tackles. We have like 20% success rate at inside run blocks. That's abysmal
As long as you have Shedeur, your in every game. -21 spread is idiotic considering that alone.I wouldn't count this Buff team out of any game.
No, we just need an excellent college running back. We don't have one right now. Alton is who we hope is that and more. If he can force 6-8 man fronts, it's over for Oregon defensively.so we need Barry Sanders lol jk

Or after you fail, marry the sister who aroused you.The key is to propose to someone with an ugly sister?
Gotta be awkward when you then have to redo the whole sister arousal process with your now exfiancee.Or after you fail, marry the sister who aroused you.

Data is real when you account for the opponent quality. The problem with grades in college football is your team played minnows and this team played teams with **** to play for.
I rather just watch the tape and I value when he did that a lot more because that's real. Data isn't real when most teams are playing FCS teams or teams that will win one game all year like Hawaii.
Slider wasn’t nsiderSo, not a wet dream. Too bad.
All I see is that UO was in as tight a game at TTU as the Buffs were at TCU, then in our other respective games CU was battle tested against rivals while the Ducks played cupcakes.Data is real when you account for the opponent quality.
Which sister are we talking about here?Data is real when you account for the opponent quality.
