CU Assistant Coach Hiring Thread

Matt developed the Packers QB Jordan Love from a 3-star recruit to where he is now. He also helped get Jackson Arnold ready to be the starter for OU next year. Shedeur is an NFL talent, but some things must be worked on.
Wells as OC/QB with Loadholt/Shurmur as OL/Analyst would be solid, IMO.
Maybe Shurmur just wants to remain an analyst and doesn't have a desire to be a full time OC?

Sorry, I don't understand your last sentence. First, I assume you mean Rick George, but second, why would he be iffy on Sapp because of Williams being a great recruiter? I feel like Sapp's main purpose would be recruiting.
Because he's never done it before.
Probably realizes he'll face the unrelenting wrath of AllBuffs day in and day out. Not good for a man with any sort of weak constitution.

The optics on a Shurmur hire would not be good nationally, imo.

Having Shurmur as analyst but in the film room and meeting rooms with Loadholt would actually be a pretty good setup, IMO.
Would get a proven OC/QB coach who has also had success as a HC to run the offensive organization. Has familiarity with Loadholt who would be the recruiting end of the OL group with a long time NFL coach around for coaching development/mentoring of Loadholt.
Who in their right mind would take that job? The city is a hell hole, the school sucks and the program pulls a whopping 7-11k "faithful" for every home game.

We will have to wait and see how accurate @TemperTemperBuffs 's source is. At least he successfully prevented more discussions about the kicker and US tip culture

It's a job where you could flip the program in a few seasons and jump to a better program. Mendenhall is familiar with the Mountain West.
Feels like Leftwich is angling for NFL OC, and probably specifically the Steelers.
Pretty much everyone is on the same page. We may lose KingJoesph Ewards to 'cuse because he loves Nick Williams. We'll find out soon. Other than that, have not heard much at all.
