The Official BC Bama/lsu thread

I took LSU +4.5

Only missed on one game this week because S. Florida missed a 27 yard FG to win by 3 (thus covering -2.5) and ended up losing in overtime.

I took Army +16.5, Arky -5.5, LSU +4.5, S. Flor -2.5, and Arky/S.C. over 51.5

Not a bad day. /csb

I love that LSU defense. I would do just about anything for the buffs to show half that much talent, athleticism, and physicality

is this where wsp will tell us how LSU is overrated again?

LSU's defense is great as is alabama's, but missing 4 fg's when 1 of them would have won you the game...ouch. That play at the 1 with the catch/interception was a killer. If that was cu playing alabama's roll my head would have exploded like a mentos in a pepsi bottle.

Their secondary(LSU'S) are one of the most athletic and quick secondary's I've seen in awhile. Tall, strong and make plays.

Don't see the hype about Les Miles. Had we gotten him as HC we'd be 1-9 right now, wouldn't have made any difference.

9-6 really, I ****ing hate sec football, bad qb play and fast defenses woo hoo....

Great game. I thought Richardson had a very good game for Bama. Should be invited to New York for Heisman

Want to see LSU vs Stanford in the Superdome now (sorry Boone)

Stanford would match up very well with LSU. That would be a great game. I don't care if Saban makes over 5 million a year. He puts an injured player in to receive a punt from one of the best punters in college football. He can't get to the kick, and it goes over his head , and costs Bama 35 yards in field position.
That was a stupid bone head call. The punt actually hit the overhead camera wire that was in front of the kicker. It went 72 yards, but there's no telling how far it would have gone if it didn't hit the wire first.

Two of those field goals were streches for the kicker. I guess Saban was trusting his defense, and rightly so, but field position was sacrificed.

But now I can't wait for his meltdown post, after BC recovers - he knows where the good **** is.

It's called good old-fashioned football where they play real defense.
so old fashioned football never consisted of any offense aptitude, whatsoever. i really hope we don't have to watch a rematch of that in mnc. good defense if fun to watch, but so is just a little bit of offense.

It's hard for me to say this was offensive ineptitude when both these teams are still Top 25 in scoring. They usually score around 40.

The offensive ineptitude was from great defensive play. You didn't see these quarterbacks missing wide open receivers or running backs not hitting the right hole and getting stuffed short of where they should be. The defenses were rock solid and gave zero room for the offenses to go anywhere.

sweet i don't care. hope i don't have to watch that **** again.

That was an incredible football game. I didn't find it boring at all. Each offense was a half inch away from breaking some big plays for touchdowns, and the opposing defenses stepped up. Nothing to complain about from my perspective.

It was a good game. Fast and so much hitting.

But if we're going to rematch them for the MNC, can we put Luck on one team and Barkley or Jones on the other? Then it would be hellafun to watch!!
