Saturday night brought no precipitation in Thatcher, but disappointment reigned.
Eastern Arizona College, which had a chance to grab a bowl bid with a win, lost 27-21 to the Phoenix College Bears.
With a very thin backfield, the Monsters had trouble holding on to the ball.

EAC (8-3) fumbled the ball five times and threw an interception. Phoenix (4-6) had just one turnover.
Not only were the Monsters minus five in the turnover category, but they committed 13 penalties for 100 yards.
Frustration boiled over for defensive lineman Bobby Agoucha in the third quarter, and he was ejected from the game.
Agoucha tossed his helmet and was making his way toward the Phoenix sideline when EAC head coach John O’Mera restrained him and walked him off the field.

We need some of that at CU right now. Not being a hothead, but that level of passion. As I've written before, give me the fiery players because it's much easier to put a bit in the mouth than a boot in the ass.
