"I have an offer from Minnesota and I'm also hearing from Boise State, Iowa State, and Arizona State," said Kelley. "My dad went to Colorado and that's the school I grew up rooting for. I'm going to camp with them this summer and they're my top school at the moment.
He would be a very nice pickup with moving away from Shaun Simon. He could step in as a redshirt freshman and start.
"I guess I just want to see if it's a place where I can fit in," Kelley said. "I want to see how good the coaching is and whether I can maybe make it to the next level. Just pretty see if I can live there for five years and if it's the perfect fit for me."
Wow, Minnesota's coaching situation is worse than ours, we should have a great shot at getting KelleyHe cancelled his Boise State trip last week. He narrowed it down to CU and Minnesota.
Kelley grew up cheering for the Buffs. His father Karry Kelley played right tackle for CU in the late '70s.
"It is kind of a dream come true for me because I always said I wanted to play at Colorado," he said. "Now I get the chance to."
"I committed to Colorado this morning," said Kelley.
The Buffs land California's #1-center, and the West's #2-center, and a Colorado legacy.
For being the #1 center in California, and the #2 center in the West, he seems to have a very limited offer list. Any ideas why that would be?
