AZ is saying that Nembot will visit next weekend and decide between Colorado and Washington. Kudos to him for breaking the story. http://buffscoop.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9481

Originally from Cameroon, he was a basketball player who came to the USA in the 10th grade to develop his game and get a college opportunity. He fell in love with football, and that's what he will play. Could be a DT with freakish height and agility for the position, could play a hybrid DE/DT like Kasa does for us, and he could end up as an OT (though that's less likely).

Video is sick! We need this guy! (He even kicks.)

    Great quote from AZ's article:

Go Tui! Get us our DT!

I think Syko might get a Russian helicopter after reading this.

    This MUST happen!!!

I also want Boyle to give him 10-15 minutes a game. That should be enough time for him to make a few guys cry...

It looks like he just commited to Wash after having been commited to WSU. Is he still visiting after just switching his commitment?

The phrase "would kill a man" fits nicely here. In two respects, as in he might kill a man, and we would certainly kill a man to sign him.

Trevor Pryce was 6'6" and did okay. Shorter DTs get an advantage in leverage from being lower to start with but if a tall guy can play low his longer arms can be an advantage fending of blockers and getting into passing lanes.

Not a great loss, we don't need dt's. We need 3 more lb's and another qb with no offers but cu...

    That's for you buffnik:)

We didn't lose him, syko. We're in his final 2. Verbal to Washington is soft and it has been reported that Nembot is visiting CU next weekend.

Well, maybe things will work out for all of us. I'll get my dt or dt's and you guys can tell me to STFU and I was wrong.

You're right about needing stud DTs if we want to win championships.

Let's hope things work out with this guy. He'd be one hell of a get for the Buffs.

Doesn't look like he's very good, I say we pass on him in favor of a 6'2 210 rush linebacker.

One of the reasons why he initially chose WSU was because it was a smaller college town feel compared to Seattle. He said at one point he felt more comfortable in a smaller environment. We'll have to see how much Boulder sways him.

He really doesn't fit the 1-5-5 scheme.

I wasn't super impressed with this guys film although he moves well for a big guy. That's a plus. Another is he's gigantic and still growing into his body so we're projecting a little bit on what he could be. As they always say, you can't teach size although there is a reason you don't see a lot of 6'6", 6'7", 6'8" DT's in the NFL. It's hard to keep your pad level down at that height and you're often going to be taking on a bunch of double teams. DE is another story. He has the length a team would LOVE on the edge and that's going to allow him to make more plays setting the edge against TE's and OT's. So that's where I would personally put him and let him grow. Between him and Kasa, that's some major size. Factor in that we're probably going after Punahou DL Luke Kaumatule and DeForest Buckner in 2012, both 6'7" and Kaiwi Crabb/KT Tu'umalo's teammates, we're aiming to add size on this DL in a major way. I just hope they have the speed and quickness to turn the corner.

Bring these guys in, put them through the training table and hope one of them fattens up and shows the ability to play low and anchor in the middle of the DL. That would be the best bet. Keep recruiting the normal DT targets as well. You can never have enough dominant, big, strong, fast defensive linemen. Look at the Cowboys 92' defensive line.
