'15 FL PF Andre Adams

I really liked Adams early on in the process, but it appears his recruiting tended to fall off (not just from us either). I saw something in passing about him working on his grades, so I wonder if that was the reason why. If so, the year at IMG will probably help him a lot.

Impressed in Long Beach last weekend.

Rivals

This was a different Andre Adams.

Even though they'd seen him play numerous times previously, college coaches were observed riffling through the pages of the massive roster packet in order to identify the active big man they were enjoyably watching.

This Adams has a beard and a new disposition. It's hard to fault coaches for the mistake. He wasn't the same player they'd come to know.

With every floor burn, every loud utterance, every aggressive possession, Adams changed a long-held perception over a three game span in a Long Beach, Calif., high school gym last week. In a sense, he'd been reborn.

Adams was a Top 100 prospect on Rivals at one point for the 2014 class who finished in the Top 150 (130). If he's focused now, this is the type of player that would make a huge impact quickly at CU. Our front court would be absolutely nasty if Josh stayed for his senior year and still right there at the top of the conference even if Josh went to the NBA.
