Allbuffs will no longer be posting articles from The Denver Post.

Hey! You're gonna kill one of the Post's few remaining profit-centers: The Post struck a deal with Righthaven, a website copyright troll to seek out alleged copyright violations, then Righthaven, using an assignment of copyrights, would sue the alleged offender for a violation, claim damages in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, then settle for $60-75K, splitting the take with the Post.

Nice racket until a federal court actually read the Copyright law which required Righthaven to be an "owner" of the content, not a mere assignee. Now, Righthaven's on life support facing a ton of claims for bringing frivilous lawsuits and the Post has to scheme for money the old fashioned way: by actually earning it!

Heck, the old business model for newspapers was to make money on advertising and classifieds, while the content was there to lure the suckers in. CraigsList and the innerwebz have killed that business model very effectively!
