Big recruiting week just started

Not understanding why we are unable to lock down some DT's? Do all schools have this problem (except alabama, of course) because all DT's know they dont grow on trees? or are we bad at recruiting DL?

DT is probably the hardest position to recruit. After QB, it's probably the most important position to recruit. I remember Auburn winning a national championship with a dynamic QB and a DT who blew up the line of scrimmage. The rest of the team was just good, not great.

When you say hardest to recruit, I assume you mean toughest to project how they mature down the road - sort of like the common philosophy on the OLine? This would make sense - just trying to clarify what you mean by hardest to recruit.

There just aren't too many guys out there who move like a linebacker but have the size & strength of an OL.
