Colorado #21 in AP Poll

Right. Let's talk scenarios. Is this the trajectory?

CU at Rose Bowl
- CU wins the P12 outright but is excluded from CFB playoffs
- CU is second highest ranked in P12 behind a playoff bound conference champion (like UDub if they keep winning)

B1G opponent in Rose Bowl
- Michigan (because Ohio State goes to play offs)
- Nebraska (because Nubs win B1G West division and end up ahead of Michigan but behind Ohio State)

Bingo.

B1G opponent in Rose Bowl
- Michigan revenge game (because Ohio State goes to play offs)
- Nebraska B8/12 Rivalry revival (because Nubs win B1G West division and end up ahead of Michigan but behind Ohio State)
Oh Jesus, yes. nebraska in the Rose? Not likely, but yes, yes and yes please.

Big benefit of this is that we're (more) relevant now. "They" will talk about us as they discuss the matchups, because the media focuses on the top 25.

CFN holding steady on their CU 7-5, 3rd in South Division pick. We may well finish 7-5, but I doubt it plays out the way they have it with losses to both Arizona and Wazzu. Arizona may have packed it up for the year by the time we see them (chance they won't even be in contention for a bowl by then), and while Wazzu looks to be in for a solid year, I'll take our chances in Boulder with our defense.
