Colorado RPI Watch

In OT.

That's big moving forward. Glad Suggs suited up.

Looking forward to UW Ohio St then Buffs tomorrow!

A win over Big East is always good.

It's a start. Glad you won, although still concerning it went to OT considering where Seton Hall is predicted to land in the Big East (14th I believe). Still, you never know with those predictions -- They could be wrong. A OT win over Seton Hall is certainly progress over the Albany game.

Good win for the conference. We need every team possible to be a Top 100 this year. Hopefully we'll have 5 or 6 Top 50s.

Dayton finished up 2-1 with a 10 point win over Auburn. Hope they do well and get well into the 20s in the win column.

Wofford lost at Ohio, but 90% of college basketball teams would lose at Ohio, so no shame there.

Arizona State beat Florida A&M 97-70. At least the Sun Devils are winning their cupcake games - so far - unlike Utah and Wazzu.

Washington is more competitive with Ohio State than I expected. Down 53-61 with 7:45 to play. Let's hope they have a run in them.

Washington lost by 11. Not a bad loss at all, but a loss isn't going to move the needle either.

I'm just not impressed with this year's version of UW. That's two years in a row under Romar, a disturbing trend. There is still no leader on the floor, and UW will be lucky to be a middle of the Pac squad unless somebody emerges. The typical Romar tenacity in players is simply not there. Unforced errors are killing the team. 2013 class is looking pretty solid for them luckily.

Poor defense, lots of sloppy play with unforced turnovers. Too many missed layups and 2 foot jumpers. There are fewer and fewer chances to gain quality wins. No help for the RPI tonight for UW.

Ohio State is a great team. They should've beat UW by 20+. Deshaun Thomas is quite the player.

Time to crank it up tonight 'Buffs! The Pac needs you to represent.

Baylor and St. John's in a good one, 57-55 Baylor at the moment. No, I'm not actively rooting for Baylor for RPI, nor should any other Buff. Whatever happens, happens when it comes to those douchebags.

Yep. If they win, it helps CU. If they lose, it makes me smile. Just enjoying a basketball game in this one.

Texas Southern got rolled at Michigan State, but that will only help our SOS (opponents of opponents is 25% of RPI).

Our defense against Baylor looks a little more impressive after this Baylor St. Johns scoring affair.

Yep, 98 points for Baylor tonight. Extremely impressive to hold them to 58. Douchebag Heslip went for 29, with 8 from the bonusphere

Also, unrelated to CU, Okie Lite is up on #6 NC State in the second half

Another hit for the ACC, though, which will make it harder for the mid-pack teams to gain RPI in conference play.

UNC, Duke, NCSU and FSU might be all we see from the ACC in the Dance this year. The only other possibility is Maryland. No one else will even be in the discussion, IMO. UVA is too young right now, and banged up. They'll finish strong, but they won't be in contention. And Miami just isn't good enough to overcome things like losing to Florida Gulf Coast by double digits. No one else is even worth mentioning.

Stanford plays Belmont tonight. Keep in mind that Belmont is in the same conference as Murray State, the Ohio Valley Conference, and it will be between those two to win that conference title.

NCSU ended up getting hammered by 20. So much for that lofty early season ranking.

Currently #9 in RPI with a sos of 11. We already have a nice tourney resume.

That will go down a bit in the next 2 games. AFA is 4-0 (2-0 vs D1) but is going to be on the edge of Top 200 this year. Texas Southern is 1-3 with games against Oakland and Middle Tennessee before us (lucky to be Top 200 this year).

Just got to close out November at 6-0 and then go to work for that @Wyoming, CSU, @Kansas, @Fresno stretch.

We already exceeded expectations at this point in the season. Very happy to be 4-0.

Time for a new contract for Tad? We can't lose this guy.

To put it in perspective, Murray State is the best team in the Ohio Valley Conference. Belmont is #2 in that conference. Belmont is solid, but Murray State is clearly better. Belmont is about to go final with a victory over Stanford at Maples Pavilion.

This is the Human Comedy. Our football team goes to hell and look at basketball. Just WOW! Irony
