How much do you like the Olympics?

For all it's faults the coverage beats the hell out of 90% of the other stuff on tv this time of year. I also like streaming events thru the avalible mobile apps. Most of the streaming has no commentators. Really enjoyable.

It'd neither kill NBC not the people producing the pictures. Had similar thoughts watching the swimming and was confused whether this was a final or heat several times myself.

It would be like showing a football game on tv and not having the teams playing or score. Maybe just the amount of time left.

NBC from what I hear also doesn't exactly show what happened and instead tries to create story arcs.

yeah but it doesn't matter if you don't know who they are or what country they represent.

Happy to see the US do well, but at this point for me, I only tune in for track and field events, the sprints to be specific.
