I'm not even sure what to say or ask at this point. The best I can come up with is: where is this program going? It's too easy to say that it's headed in the right direction just because that's the "feeling" that Hawk has brought to CU football. Where are the wins? I'm sorry but what is football about if not winning? I just can't buy into moral victories and explanations about youth and injuries anymore. I get it. Everyone gets it. It's harder to win with so many injuries and young players out there but come on, is it too much to ask that we not get embarrassed on a weekly basis? How about training a quarterback to throw the ball from point A to point B without fumbling or throwing an interception every third play. Is it too much to ask the coaching staff to accept that their gameplans are worthless? They're not holding anything back, they're stubbornly hoping that eventually their playcalling will yield different results. Good luck with that. Good luck to all of us who love CU football. At least in my memories I can relive the glory years of the early 90's. I remember what it was like when CU was a national power, and was respected and even feared. I feel bad for the young fans who either weren't around or too young to appreciate those times. Now, the program is what it is. Bad.
