We really need to beat these guys next year. I think we had beaten them something like 23 out of the last 25 games prior to the last two years when they embarrased us, we need to get back to doing this to these clowns. It looks like we might be primed to do so.

-Mizzou loses Daniel, Maclin and Coffman

-Mizzou loses OC Christiansen to Wyo. First time Pinkel has lost a major assistant in his tenure at Mizzou.

-Homecoming for us on HALLOWEEN!!! Make it the blackout at night!

I think we beat Mizzou this season.

Chase Daniels always brought it against us. I think he HATED us for some reason, probably relating to keeping them out of the Big XII N title game a few times or something. Whatever, he always played like a god against us. I never saw him make a bad throw in the last 2 years...

    Now that he is gone...

    KILL!

this thread is funny. Only loser programs sweat beating pretenders.

I'm glad Dan Hawkins is not emo over the loses to mizzou. I think he will just go out there and coach, beating a team we should beat. Chase daniels and Coffman are gone, the other players are a bunch of jokers. I trust Bandison and Brown will prep these buffs up for a bloodshed.

With both Chases (Coffman and FUPA) gone and Maclin gone as well AND the fact that this game is at home, we have as good a chance as we ever have. I say it's a win.

It should be a win if we don't go into it the same way we did the last two years. Our defensive gameplan against these guys has been flat out pathetic for two years in a row. Rush three guys and put no pressure on Daniel allowing him all freaking day to find Coffman and Maclin is a recipe for disaster. Now without those guys, we have a better chance, but be assured that their backups have been getting a lot of practice time as well. They know their offense. It's up to us to stop it. We've been awful against these guys lately. AWFUL.

As long as Rubber Bullets don't start flying everywhere from the Police like the last Halloween riot, it should be a good time

I was at the last halloween riot... it was entertaining enough - mainly because I got off The Hill before the cops went ape-****.

The offense needs to show up more than anything. No reason we can't go 2-1 against NU, KU, and MU this year since they're all at home.

This is ignorant. Those were good teams, but they are far different teams with the personnel lost.

    Go Buffs!

Unfortunately I was in the warzone that night....my eyes hurt for days due to the tear gas and mace sprayed everywhere...but at least I didn't get tagged with one of those rubber bullets the cops were just spraying everywhere

I think we sweep these teams, actually I'm calling for a home sweep this year. 6 home wins and 2 road wins.Road wins vs. Miami and ISU. Hawk needs to start proving he can win on the road before I predict anymore. I think KSU is a road game we should win but we don't.

If we actually go undefeated at home next year, we're winning more than 8 games IMO. Don't see it happening, but I don't think 5-1 is out of the question.

This thread is not about you not understanding quality teams. It's about Mizzou being a fluke college program with a luck ass qb who was exposed almost everytime he played a real contender.

Another nonsensical statement from the peanut gallery. Are you saying Missouri hasn't been any good in the Daniels era and that he's a lousy athlete? Back it up with something more than sour grapes and hot air. If your only point is that he lost to National Championship contenders, that means that all but a handful of teams are "flukes" with "luck ass" athletes. Almost no one consistently has our non-conference schedule, but this is an enviable collegiate career:
2008: 10-4, won Alamo Bowl, Daniels: 4335 yds passing, 33 passing TDs, 18 INTs, 281 yds rushing, 1 rushing TD (only decent non-conference team is Illinois, lost to ranked Big XII teams, beat two ranked Big 10 teams and crushed nU (and us))
2007: 12-2, won Cotton Bowl, Daniels: 4306, 33, 11, 253, 4 (not horrible non-conference with Illinois and Ole Miss, beat us)
    2006: 8-5, lost Sun Bowl, Daniels: 3527, 28, 10, 379, 4
(cupcake non-conference schedule, Ole Miss only 'quality' opp, beat us)

Daniels is a heckuvan athlete. But you, my friend were ignorant on this subject. You're welcome, and don't EVER make me do that again.

Do what, i can post stats to. Kliff Kingsbury posted great passing stats too, that doesn't say much. Daniels made a bunch of passes on ****ty north teams in that era, but when it came to play against the elite in the conference he failed miserably to win.

Again this thread is not about how you can't get off chase's ****, its about how mizzou lost it's two good players and is no longer a contender, which even when it was failed miserably.

You haven't proven a thing about Daniels by bringing up another player or saying that you could post stats. I take that as conceding. Thanks for playing! :boxing:

Ripping on a QB that would have been the best QB at CU in the last 15 years and won about 30 games in his career. Solid!

saying Chase daniels >>> Joel klatt is not exactly a best kept secret either .

acting like that is a hard task to accomplish is pretty funny. Most of the big 12 qbs we have now could do the same. Infact all execpt for a&m's qb could post better numbers than any of the qbs we've had in the past 15 years post kordell.
