Off to a great start! Game thread

What's the mercy rule in college football? Didn't we do this to some team in a bowl game once (42 points in the first half, I think...one of the Boston's maybe)? It was a lot more fun being on the winning side of that equation.

What's the winning side? Charlie sheen?

My dad called me before the end of the 1st quarter of the 2001 CU/NU game, saying "Uncle." If I had any UW relatives I would have already made the same call.

If that relative was actually an uncle, it might get confusing for him. You gotta think these things through.

Some positive things out of the o today (I don't mean the awesome male cheerleader either - i never thought I'd ever utter the words awesome male cheerleader in the same sentence.). The o line needs to keep it up & play to their ability.

Seriously, do we not have a walk on soccer player who can kick the ball to the end zone? I love Will Oliver, but his kicks rarely even make it to the 10. I guess it's better than Castor kicking it out of bounds, but not by much since they tend to return them to at least the 40.
