I think the odds are in favor of doing the onsides. Either way, you've got to get a 3 and out. Only real difference is trading a chance at possession for bad field position if your defense does its job.

Terrible decision by Sefo. We needed him to step up in the two minute drill and he just crapped the bed. Oh well.
Well, we were competitive in another conference game.
Are we close where we need to be? No.
Were we better this year than last year? Definitely. Anyone who thinks differently needs a head examination.

We lost by the same deficit to Utah last year
At home.
In Boulder. CU and Utah are both significantly different programs at home and away.
And last year was at home and this year was on the road against an improved Utah team that beat Stanford.
We aren't good. But we are better. As tough as that is to stomach.

Glad this season is over, The Buffs were outgunned. Utah looked like men on the field, while the buffs looked like an underweight high school senior. A lot of work is needed in the weight room, we also need to recruit more skilled players. We have no punt returner or kickoff returner. Well there are a lot of needs.
