Just looked through our recruiting class based on Rivals and it is ridiculously bad now. I knew it was weak but I didn't realize it was that weak based on rankings. We really need a better product on the field next year.

It liked like a transition class a month before Embree got fired.

Big weekend for several PAC-12 programs. USC and UCLA both have several blue chippers visiting.

For USC, it is a chance to solidify commitments from some guys wavering (Nico Falah-4* OT, Jalen Ramsey-5* CB, Eddie Vanderdoes-4* DE).

For UCLA, it is a chance to add to what is turning into a monster class (potentially top 10). Conventional wisdom says close friends Priest Willis and Tahaan Goodman (both 4* safeties) will likely pull the trigger to the Bruins this weekend.

Overall, it looks like USC, UCLA, and Washington will finish with top 15 classes. Cal, ASU, and Arizona will all have shots at the top 25. Stanford will probably finish out of the top 25 due to a small class and Oregon is feeling the effects of the uncertainty surrounding Chip Kelly.

Gee, where in there do you think CU ends up?

How the hell is UCLA not a perennial BCS bowl team?

Furthermore, what about Pasadena is such a draw?

The school is not in Pasadena, it is in LA right next to Beverly Hills and has a beautiful campus. Add in the fact that it is a good academic school, it seems like a no brainer. Now I don't understand the draw to USC.

UCLA lands 4* DBs Johnny Johnson and Tyler Foreman so far. Looks like Goodman and Willis are strong leans as well.

As mentioned by Tini last night, Goodman and Willis committed to UCLA yesterday. Sounds like the Bruins have a good shot at Kylie Fitts and Eddie Vanderdoes too. What Mora and his staff are doing on the recruiting trail right now is pretty impressive.

Meanwhile, USC has lost six commitments thus far and Jalen Ramsey may be on the way out after secondary coach Marvin Sanders was fired. USC will end up with a great class, but things are not going in the right direction there.

Finally updated all of the commitment lists. Some observations:

1. ASU with seven JUCOs in their class. Not sure Graham really knows how to build a sustainable program for the long-term.
2. Sonny Dykes going with a big class this year. A little surprising considering the transition.
3. Remember the names Devon Allen (Oregon) and Khalfani Muhammad (Cal). Both are track stars and could be the two fastest players in the PAC-12 before they are done.
4. Stanford amazes me with their OL recruiting. They have two 3* prospects in this class that would headline some OL classes in the conference.
5. Adrian Klemm and Demetrice Martin are officially at the "super recruiter" level of Lupoi and Orgeron.
6. Utah doing a surprisingly good job in Texas with seven players from there.
7. The state of Arizona continues to be raided by other programs. ASU and Arizona only landed a player each out of the state's top 10. UCLA has landed three.

Oregon St has really ridden their on field success lately. The had 4 recruits before the season started, 8 by the end of the season, and 22 now including a 4* in Dashon Hunt and a bunch of heavily recruited 3* guys.

Oregon also picked up 2* RB out of AZ Kani Benoit. He committed to CSU, then UNLV, then ultimately Oregon. It looks like Oregon's bluechip RB Dontre Wilson is going to Ohio St

Starting to see some significant cracks in the Trojan armor.

They could still lose Torrodney Prevot tomorrow. It has gone from a consensus #1 class in the country to a great class that is very thin in areas.
