Official 2023-24 MBB Season Thread

I found this article on www.on3.com:

I'm gonna take that part about Texas sucking at transition defense and turn it into CU will score a lot in transition.

@hokiehead

2023 it would have likely kept out Hofstra, Eastern Washington, and Morehead state who all won first round games.

I can't find 2022 net rankings, but it possibly could've kept out that St Bonaventure team that beat us and made the final 4.

2021 was a weird small NIT because Covid. 2020 didn't have an NIT because Covid.

2019 Low major champion Lipscomb auto qualified for the NIT and made the championship game.

Interesting change in heights to a couple of freshmen on the official roster:

• Bangot Dak now listed at 6-11, 180 (originally listed at 6-9)
• Assane Diop now listed at 6-8, 210 (originally listed at 6-10)
Tad's really found another source of growth hormone. He's been all out since Spencer

I don't understand how Dak's recruiting went so under the radar, maybe because he was in middle of nowhere Nebraska? He seems to have the physical tools.
