Official Game Thread - Colorado vs TCU: Sko Buffs!!!

Rewatching the game and the defense wasn't as bad as I thought. Things turned into a shootout for the 4th, but the defense had a clear.dropped INT and a roughing the passer penalty on a 3rd down that would have really changed the game dynamic.
Didn't get enough pressure and TCU was running pretty much at will. We all know the buffs are not deep at DL. Need the linebackers to step up this week.

Does mister Hodges have any eligibility after this year?

Two other blocks that were pivotal: Dylan Edwards picking up the blitz on (I think?) the 20 yard 3rd down conversion from Shedeur to Travis. And then Xavier Weaver with the downfield sustained block on the DB to help spring Dylan for the screen pass TD. Great stuff!
Edwards picking up that blitz is why he'll play on Sundays, even if he's a touch small.

He'll play on Sundays because he's a playmaker who can outrun the defense. But him having a lot of Phillip Lindsay style dawg in him elevates him to a different level than just talent.
Yes, but playmakers who won't, don't, or can't block rarely make NFL squads.

Recognizing the blitz and making that block is what pros do, and he did it in his first game as a true freshman.

That's great talent, great coaching, and great mindset/attitude.
