Mine is still a longs ways to go. But there were some bright spots
    Positives

Deeper than expected at running back and full back- Jordan Murphy and Christian Powell and Crowder will be good in short yardage situations. Creer, Adkins and Lindsay are all stocky and fast.

Wide receiver- still a work in progress, but Bobo could end up been the number one receiver, he is that good. Walker flashed, can't wait to see what Fields will bring to the field in the fall. Need to stretch the field more
    Linebackers played well

Whitherspoon started slowly but came up huge in the last series. I like Physical corners.

    Negatives

Need to get stronger across the board. Increase the meal allowances for all of the players. Intensive work during the summer in the weight room is needed
    OL- am worried

    Better than last year.

This looked like a D1 team out there.

I'm much less worried about our backup QB situation than I was.

Feeling pretty good about Henington and Parker at their new positions. Need to get Solis and Kafovalu back in the mix on the DL.

Desperately need Irwin to come back strong and upgrade the OL. Hoping Sully can also give us something.

Not seeing a ton from the senior class, so it looks like it will be a young team this season -- especially as the depth chart incorporates the freshmen this fall.

Hoping the Buffs can find their way to 6 wins (things would have to break favorably) to set up what could be a very solid team in 2015.

It was a good day to be a Buff. That was a fun game to watch.

Sure there are some things to clean up.

The pass to Christian in the endzone was catchable, but he was a step too slow. Canty had a very catchable pass bounce off his chest. Both have work to so to get playing time. There are some legit D1 targets at receiver.

Richardson is hard to replace, but Bobo and Walker lessen the sting. Spruce and Goodson have competition.

Witherspoon played fast and hard. He is a force in the secondary, but he has some more learning to do, like not hitting players out of bounds and he needs to be careful a bout not drawing pass interference flags.

It was disappointing Gonzalez missed his FG attempt. The heralded kicker from Mexico didn't live up to his reputation.

Props to Gehrke. If Sefo has to step out, Gehrke looks like a legit backup. Maybe he even presses to start?

The ground game is the key concern. While there are lots of running options, none of our RBs will get many 100 yard games if the OLine can't open running lanes and receivers don't pick up more downfield blocks.

Sure there are aspects to complain about. But the primary impression from today is that MacIntyre has the support of his bosses and buy in from his players. The team is playing faster and looks more ready than any spring squad in recent memory. This team is on the up and up. I can't wait to see them again this fall.

For sure. We look to have a decent base for development and to contribute to becoming a good or, dare I say, great team in another couple year or so assuming that recruiting can keep up.

We are improved. We have more team speed and more athleticism spread out over almost every position group. I think what impresses me most is the leadership from the young players: Liufau, Gillam, and Witherspoon (already) all talk and play like true leaders that make everyone else better. If we can get the OL figured out, this is a pretty competitive team.

Witherspoon, Bobo, and Walker stood out. The DBs as a group looked good. Sefo had a great start, then hit a rut, but his numbers were efficient. Nembot doesn't look like he'll ever get it full-time. I liked what I saw from Creer.

Really what I'm most disappointed in what how poorly the facilities presentation/ceremony was leveraged. Ideally, the announcement goes out a month before the Spring Game, you make it a day of festivites, you give away some swag, and you promote the hell out of it and get 20K+ fans and some momentum going with the fan base (and perhaps a collection basket to go around and get more donations - just spitballin' here). Instead, we get a Friday cable, less than 24 hours before the Spring Game, and < 5K in the stands. Big time missed opportunity, but at least the reality of new facilities is here.

Also, the Pac12Network announcing team was dreadful. I liked the freckled, milfey redhead sideline reporter (to look at), but the play-by-play guy kept throwing out incorrect facts and kept pronouncing Liufau "Luau."

Also had trouble saying Gillam, he kept saying Gilly-am. And I got the impression he didn't look at his notes till the game started.

For me, the standouts were Bobo, Gherke, Henington, Walker and Greer. Bobo obviously had a great game. Gherke looked really good and I think he will definitely have a fair shot at starting this year. I was impressed with Heningtons leadership. He was getting on other D-Lineman for being out of position. Lee Walker showed he can play. He didn't blow by anybody (which I've heard he does often) but he caught everything that was thrown to him. Finally, Greer looked very fast and very physical. The LB core looks really good to me.

Gerkhe under throws a lot of deep balls, even the touchdown to Bobo was underthrown. Sefo footwork is a lot better, he now drives the ball. I like the touch on the touchdown pass to Walker. Sefo is still the leader for the starting spot but Gerkhe is a good backup option.

The WRs impressed me...Bobo's got some mad skills and Spruce is automatic. The RBs impressed me too. Pretty good tackling by the D. The line play looked like a draw. Sefo didn't have a great game and Gherke looked like a credible starter/good backup.

My buddy came with, who is not a huge CU fan, and he came last year too. He noticed a big improvement in overall team speed from last year's spring game.

If the OL can play adequately, I think we have enough talent in the skill positions to get to 5-6 wins this year. I'm still in the 3-5 range in my expectations, but they looked pretty good out there today.

Pretty cool to see the plans for the facilities...I hope a new audio system is in the works...couldn't hear **** from Mac or Rick (and don't care to hear DiS or Benson).

    Go Buffs!

Not much else to add except this was the most fluid spring game I've been to at Folsom in awhile. No big interruptions to correct alignment, personnel etc, very game like for the offense and defense. Far from finished, but I like seeing the process/progress achieved so far.

I think Sefo is the better player, and I think he will be the starter. But Gerkhe was better than I thought he would be though. He's more athletic than Sefo.

C'mon man. We couldn't even get this game on the internet in years past. They weren't that bad, and most importantly, it was on actual TV.

And the graphic on the screen said Bruce, which caused him to say it, but he corrected himself.

I liked Gerkhe throwing the ball. There are some non-throwing things he needs to fix (handoffs, avoid just running backwards) but he did look decent. Hell, even that Sessions kid dropped a dime on Bobo today.

I think Nik summed it up pretty well. I would also add the the way Coach set up the scrimmage was light years ahead of what we've seen in years past.

The biggest thing to me - they're having fun playing ball again, that was clearly not the case in '12 and last spring up until early in the season last year

All you had to do was avoid the South side parking and it wasn't a issue

You are right, on one play he scrambled like about 25 yards behind the line of scrimmage to keep the play alive. He has mocks y. I like both our Quarterbacks. Still a lot of work to be done. But it won't matter who is playing QB, if the OL issues are not addressed.

Completely different sport. Bruce Lindgren is the PG guru who's working out Peter Dinwiddie in preparation for the NBA draft.

Gee, where did all that come from? Those were basically the same bunch of kids this board ragged on all last season as "too slow and unathletic."

You don't suppose familiarity with the system, buy-in with the staff's philosophy and a little wizardry from the S&C guys made any difference, eh? Especially the S&C staff, Forman shows up again (after his record for lack of injuries last fall) as a "big time" college S&C guy; one who can develop players rather than merely turning them loose. Just keep working with the OL, especially now that the S&C staff can work with the players all summer!

Same conclusions as many here. I like Sefo's command out there. Gillam also impresses me each time I see him out there. If he isn't making the play he is the 2nd or 3rd guy to the spot. I saw him grab a guy on the sideline and take him away from the group to discuss something with him. Not sure if he was just bs'ing or if he was leading. I would be comfortable assuming a bit of both. Coach was not afraid to get on guys that screwed up and correct their mistakes immediately. I like the flashes I saw from Bobo. I liked the offensive play calls. The option end around pitch was great. The D looked aggressive and much more disciplined on their assignments.

I think we are starting to find the light at the end of this long dark tunnel. We are going to need some luck this season to make it to 6 wins. But if we can do it, the pace of our recovery will really accelerate. 6 wins, a new impressive football facility, and new modern uniforms (they help whether you want to admit it or not) that are rumored to be in the works for 2015 and I think you will really see an uptick in the caliber of players we recruit and a marked increase in the excitement and participation of the fan base. 5 wins this season would not be the end of the world, but repeating at 4 I think hurts our image.

Also I was impressed by the crowd today. For as down as we have been, I felt there was a decent showing.

Oh and a bit off-topic but the news released about the $120 young alumni tickets is a fantastic move by the AD.
