Good luck to our next coach who will know how to bring out the talent on this team and utilize them to their fullest abilities.

Collins and his all-out blitz say hi.

    Worst ****ing playcall ever.

EDIT: I don't give a **** that we scored off of the return. Doesn't take away the "gasher."

elaborate, hmm. where to start. poor clock managment at the end of the game. throwing the ball for the first 4-5 series of the game instead of trying to make the run work.

not trying the field goal in OSU territory to try to tie the game.

    (Sarcasm)

This thread is about the players. If you guys want to bitch about the coaching, you have ample threads to choose from.

Players played their butts off in a loud environment. We still lose but the effort was there.

    Jajjajajajajajajajaj....

Try making the run work? The coaches are smarter than you give them credit for. Our running game is a complete joke.

I think Hawk needs to go as much as anyone but the two decisions you cite are not really poor.

    1. The first time out. The clock is going to run 40 seconds then or it's going to later when you don't have any time outs. You need to call a timeout there in case you are able to force a 3 and out. There is no downside to calling the timeout there so calling the timeout right away is slightly better than calling it later. The second timeout was the real mistake. Wasted ~15 seconds due to clock rules after a first down.

    2. Goodman is a piss poor kicker. Had he gone for the FG and missed I'm sure just as many would be blaming Hawkins for not going for it. While it may still have not been the right call, it's a pretty close decision IMO.

Our OL isn't strong enough to run the power running game, they moved the ball tonight just stalled at the wrong time at the osu 30 twice.

They did play well. Hats off to them. We came losing these games by just a few points. It makes me think we were closer than the record testifies to. We seem limited on offense and unable to sustain drives. Kinda wonder if things would have been different with a few less transfers and few more kids admitted. Oh well

Hawkins is awful smiley. Maybe he's got something up his sleeve. Like a Distefano endorsement.

Marquez Harrod played his butt off. My favorite Buff of the evening.

Yeah, the guy deserves carries just based off of that performance. I think he also had a draw play that went for 10ish yards. Gamer, now just needs about 10-15 more pounds.

I really wonder why he doesn't get more touches. Should be our #1 returner with J-Fly gone. Could be that they're worried about him re-opening the hernia? Anyway, still so nice to see him go yard. He's one of those guys who makes you hold your breath every time he gets his hands on the ball.
