Hi All,
I wanted to get the forums opinion on the validity of the star rating for recruits.
Does having a star rating make you a better player then a recruit who has no star rating?
If it makes you a better player why? To me the rating system is flawed because I could take a recruite around the country get him in combine/camps and get a 2-3 star rating. If parents don't have the funding to get to these events a kid doesn't get rated. I've seen different players who are 4 star and wonder who the heck was rating these kids.
Now I'm not a coach or ex-professional NFL player, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night but I feel I do know a quality HS football player when I see them.
Thanks for allowing me to participate!!
