Montez has extremely good arm talent. That throw was 45 yards on a rope, right to the player with an off balance pressured throw. He has great potential (IF COACHED WELL) to be an elite starter the next 2 years!

Spoiler alert:

The offense will eventually start putting some good drives together. This will be timed up perfectly with the defense suddenly being unable to stop anything for the rest of the game.
 
Three coaching choices here:

#1 = Kick the 54-yard field goal with an NFL quality kicker
#2 = Punt and pin them down (defense playing well)
#3 = Try and go for it on 3rd and 9 with a weak OL

Mac chooses #3 and then bitches about the result????

Montez is a good athlete with a great arm, but let's confuse that with him being a quarterback. He is not a quarterback...yet.
 
LOL. Another amazing coaching decision on 4th down by Mac. Waiting for TSchekler to tell me that it was impossible to know that it was a bad decision and I only feel that way in hindsight
 
Montez did not play that like it was 4th and 9. Situational awareness kills this team.
